In the Bluetooth section on the MacBook Air it does show the Buds while searching.

Chances are you'll be using the Galaxy Buds with multiple devices, so make sure to disconnect them from one device before trying to connect them to another. The earbuds will have trouble pairing otherwise. The easiest way to do this is to simply turn off Bluetooth on the first device before trying to connect with the second. Once the earbuds have been connected, your phone's Samsung Wear app will automatically launch. This is where you can check the battery life on the Galaxy Buds and use the Find My Earbuds feature.
